For the beginner often the biggest hurdle is making that initial start.
Evening classes in model engineering now appear to be a thing of the past and joining a local model engineering club can be very daunting. It would also appear that the opportunity for one to one teachings from a friendly local model engineer is also declining due to increasing health and safety regulations and fear of litigation.
